As I kid I was amazed by ballerina’s pointe shoes. Remembering feeling mesmerized, almost hypnotized as well as confused when I was trying to figure out how those dancers have been actually stand in their toes ~ clearly didn’t know the magic in their shoes. Of course every single attempt to imitate their moves in my own shoes ended up with failure. To me the whole thing was so magical. The shoes, the way they move, how they fly and fall back extremely elegantly while carrying themselves gracefully. The outfits was also a big part of my obsession ~ super chic, simple, elegant…with dreamy materials ~ tulles and ribbons.
Well if you are not a ballerina, I guess you don’t have that many chances to rock that outfit in your daily life 🙂 but you can always have the inspiration sprinkled in your daily looks.
Speaking on those pointe shoes and their amazing ribbons that ties dancers ankles, these days I am bringing that inspiration to my daily life ~ imitating that look on my sneakers by simply playing with their laces. I have to admit, I am obsessed!!!!! Feel like I almost forget how I was wearing my sneakers before without that detail. Please don’t judge me, LOL.
This is how they look topdown 🙂 extremely comfy, have to admit!
From the side, especially when the laces are longer, you can actually channel your internal ballerina and feel like walking in those pointe toes:)
Even when you are wearing leggings with a skirt, it still works to me!
At least now you know that I almost don’t wear my sneakers any other way these days.
Give it a try, you can thank me later;)
