Just got back from snowy Istanbul to a really cold NYC.
After some nice weather of the last few weeks, now reality starts biting, yeah winter is here.
All I want is to stay warm, feel cozy and not get sick!

During that season, I make myself a nice winter tea with lots of vitamin C, super duper basic but a great prevention for cold.

Ingredients are:
Satsuma orange
Mint leaves

Basically all you need to do is to combine slices of lemon and satsuma orange with their PEEL, yeah big highlight here and that is because it contains many essential vitamins, minerals and enzymes where the benefits include:

1. Decrease Cholesterol level
2. Fight Cancer
3. Improve Bone Health
4. Boost Immunity and Digestion
5. Improve Oral Health
6. Improve Skin Condition, problems as dark spots, acne, pigmentation & wrinkles.
7. Boost Metabolism and Reduce Weight

Add some mint leaves on it and pour hot water on it, make it sit and wait for like 3-5 minutes.
I kinda like to add a little bit of honey on it that gives a perfect balance on sour and sweet combination.

That’s basically my favorite med during winter times since I technically hate taking real medicine if I absolutely don’t hate to:) Mother nature has all the organic and natural meds for us most of the time only if you know how to get the best of them.
